The North Caucasus branch of Federal Passenger Company (a subsidiary of Russian Railways) for the first time this year will receive new passenger cars-MIKST, built at the car building plant in Tver, the press service of the SCJD reported.

In total, this year it is planned to deliver 13 MICST cars produced by JSC "TVZ", which will run on the Moscow, Gorky, North Caucasus and Far Eastern railways. The listed railways are characterized by changing conditions, and the operation of MICST cars is considered more expedient here than separately the CV car and the Luxe car.

In total, in 2012 it is planned to deliver 13 MICST cars, which combine two types of cars with passenger compartments of different classes (in the basic version - 7 passenger 2-seat coupes and two 2-seat passenger compartments of increased comfort with sanitary and hygienic modules).
