New airport under construction in Beijing

A new airport is being built in Beijing. It is planned to include nine runways, which will relieve the load from Beijing International Airport.

The impetus for the creation of another commercial airport was the fact that last year the city received 73 million passengers, and the maximum - 75 million. It is expected that in two years the city will reach its maximum point.

The new airport, called Dexing, will open in 2015. The number of travellers is expected to rise to 370 million by this year.
