As a result of clashes in Jamaica, people died
Clashes between police, armed forces and drug gangs in the Jamaican capital claimed the lives of more than 60 civilians. The riots arose during the operation to detain Christopher Kock, a drug lord nicknamed "Dudus." And while Bruce Golding (Jamaica's prime minister) has made a statement that order will be restored, the government is advising all tourists to cancel any trips to Kingstone (Jamaica's capital). But tour operators do not have to worry much, most resorts are located more than 100 kilometers from Kingstone.
