In Russia can be created a low-cost airline for flights to the Far East

The publication “Izvestia” writes, referring to Ivan Abramov, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy, that in our country there are plans to create a state low-cost airline that will specialize in the Far East.

According to I. Abramov, the initiative will contribute to the development of the transport complex of the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD), and will allow local residents to fly more often to the European part of Russia.

The country can afford to buy ten long-haul aircraft and create a state-owned company that will not pay huge lease payments.

The issue may be raised at the next budget discussion at the plenary session of the Federation Council, which will be held on November 25.
