In Russia began the program of free travel for children
In 2022, the Federal Agency for Tourism and the Ministry of Finance of Russia, within the framework of the National Project “Tourism and the Hospitality Industry”, implement a pilot project to popularize tourism for school-age children as part of a social order.
About 100 thousand schoolchildren of grades 5-9 will be able to travel with their parents in Russia. This will be possible through the use of a social certificate.
As part of the project in 2022, more than 20 thousand students of 5-6 grades from Moscow suburban schools will be able to travel. For the organization of travel for schoolchildren Moscow region in the federal budget in 2022 provides 102 million rubles.
To implement such a project, the region was able to quickly integrate the information systems “School Portal”, the portal “Public Services of the Moscow Region” and the system “Regional Electronic Budget”.
Parents in the personal office of the State Services apply for a certificate, which automatically falls into the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow region. After confirming the certificate, parents and schoolchildren themselves choose a trip and sign a contract with the tour operator.
The implementation of the project of school tourism in the Moscow region is planned in several stages: first it will be attended by students of 40 schools of the Moscow region, studying under the program “Smart holidays”. Within the framework of the second stage – in July – individual tours are planned, the third stage – in September – involves the organization of group and individual tours.
18 regions of Russia participate in the experimental part of the project. Travel is carried out through a social certificate without the involvement of parents. Information on travel within the framework of the social order can be specified in the regional authorities in the field of tourism.
