In Russia updated the rules of registration of foreign passports
“Parliamentskaya Gazeta” reports that the terms of rendering public services do not change, but the rules for performing certain administrative procedures have been revised.
The corresponding order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia of March 31, 2021 No. 186 enters into force on May 30.
Citizens of the Russian Federation residing in the country and abroad will be able to obtain a passport.
The term for the provision of public services when submitting documents on the territory of the subject where the Russian is registered at the place of residence should not be more than a month. And in the case of filing an application at the place of residence of the applicant – three.
In connection with the amendments to the Tax Code, adopted from January 1, 2021, the cases when it is not necessary to pay a state fee for the issuance of a document instead of a lost or fallen into disrepair have been revised. Persons injured in emergency situations were released from it. For all the rest of the state duty for registration of the passport of the old sample will be two thousand rubles, and the new - five thousand rubles. Fingerprints are required to produce a new document.
You can apply for a passport through the portal of public services, but the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation should still be personally provided to the interior Ministry or MFC.
