In Russia will be GOST organization of tours for pensioners
In Russia there will be a GOST for the provision of tourist services for the elderly. This was reported in Rosstandart.
As noted in the Ministry, the innovation can come into force from September 1 of this year. So, according to the developed GOST, for women over 55 years and men from 60 travel agencies need to organize trips not associated with high physical activity. In addition, the hotel, in which travelers will live, should be an elevator, and the room for elderly tourists should be equipped with air conditioning and located near the exit.
Also, GOST provides requirements for the staff of companies providing tourist services - restrained, friendly and sensitive employees should be allowed to work with elderly travelers.
