In Russia proposed to block BlaBlaCar due to illegal transportation

Public organization "All-Russian Association of Passengers" (POP) proposes to form a black list of sites cooperating with illegal bus carriers: BlaBlaCar, Yandex.Buses, Tutu.

In total, the list compiled by the results of the PLO study included 229 unfair resources. The proposal was sent to the state Duma on July 25. The authors of the initiative propose to enshrine in law the creation of a single register of domain names and network addresses for such sites - it will be possible to block them due to the "sale of goods and services that threaten the security of citizens."

According to Sergei Boyarsky, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications, the proposal will be considered in the autumn.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of transport of Russia intends to legally regulate the work of the service for the selection of fellow travelers “BlaBlaKar”, as currently there is no control over the transportation of passengers.
