In Russia, the popularity of rest decreased by 3.5 times
Russian resorts will not be able to restore the interest of travelers in the upcoming velvet season. The tourist flow within the country will decrease by about 3.5 times in September and October 2017.
According to experts, foreign destinations are chosen by organized and independent tourists. The share of sales of Russia decreased from 17% to 5%: domestic destinations fell to 8th place in the ranking of the most popular.
The undisputed leader of the velvet season will be the Republic of Turkey: a third of tourists will go to the resorts of the Mediterranean Sea. The three popular resorts are also Tunisia and Greece.
