In Russian Railways reported the most common violation among passengers
Deputy General Director of Russian Railways Ivan Kolesnikov in an interview with RIA Novosti reported that passengers of long-distance trains in Russia most often violate the rules of drinking alcohol.
In 2024, more than 38,000 offenses were recorded on such trains. The Russian Railways explained that train cars are considered public places where the consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited according to the law on state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products.
