Message in a Bottle Found 36 Years Ago

Bangor Daily News reports that Joshua Mendes is on Cape Cod Beach, Massachusetts. USA) found a bottle with a message sent 36 years ago.

According to Joshua, he accidentally spotted a glass bottle that was almost entirely in the sand.

In the bottle was a message from an 11-year-old girl named Jenny Brown, which she sent on May 14, 1983 from Johnsport, Maine. She asked for a reply and attached her address.

Mendes, along with his 73-year-old father Paul, decided to find Jenny, but doubted that after all these years she still lives at this address.

After the publication of the announcement in social networks, Katie Marie Brown responded to the post in the comments, who confirmed that the letter was sent by her sister, who still lives in Johnsport.
