In Thailand there will be signs in Russian

In the Thai city of Pattaya, not only the signs of restaurants and hotels will be Russified, but also road signs and signs specially translated into Russian and several other languages will appear.

Explanations to road signs and signs in Russian, English, Chinese and Thai will cover rules requiring the use of helmets, prohibition of driving cars or bikes under the influence of alcohol, other offenses, as well as fines and sanctions for these violations. The decision was financially supported by Toyota.

Deputy Chief of the Royal Thai Police General Wuthi Liptapanlop commented on the decision by saying that tourists need to be reminded about the observance of traffic rules.
