"Wine roads of Russia" - a thematic tourist route may appear in Russia
The Commission of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RST) on Wine Tourism proposed to create a national tourist route "Wine Roads of Russia".
Currently, we are starting cooperation with the platform of Rosselkhozbank "Native". Outside the city, which is a federal aggregator and marketplace for farm products. Since July, the platform has been developing a new direction of travel, where information about farms providing tourist services is posted, and ready-made tours are offered for booking. In August, we begin collecting information from wineries and tour operators for placement in the section "Wine tours" on the site "My native". Outside the city, said Elena Porman, head of the PCT commission for wine tourism.
According to her, it is worth using the cluster model, combining wineries, agrotourism objects - cheese factories, farms into complex routes, and offering local natural and cultural heritage objects for visiting.
Porman invited the Krasnodar region to become the leading region in the formation of a national route with the support of the PCT Commission on Wine Tourism.
The interaction and joint efforts of the two industries – wine and tourism – will make it possible to find a development strategy and make wine tourism economically attractive for wine farms and the tourism industry, and in demand among tourists.
The volume of wine production in the Krasnodar Territory last year amounted to 19 million decalitres, in total, 43 million decalitres of wine were produced in Russia in 2020.
