Sevastopol authorities ease COVID restrictions
The Sevastopol operational headquarters for the prevention of the spread of the coronavirus allowed restaurants to work at night and open children's sections against the background of improved epidemic conditions.
“We will be removing night time from Friday next week. This will ensure that the positive momentum continues. But the most important thing will remain compliance with QR codes for admission to catering establishments, and the control will be quite serious, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said at a meeting of the headquarters on Friday.
It was decided to allow theaters and cinemas to work from Monday when 70% of the halls are filled, children's sections and clubs can open.
The governor explained that such decisions can be made by stabilizing the situation with the coronavirus, which “has entered a controlled course.”
New high growth rates of coronavirus infected after summer highs began to be recorded in Sevastopol in the second decade of October. Since then, the daily maximum has been updated 19 times, a series of record breaking stopped about a week and a half ago.
