Ukrainian authorities do not want their citizens to rest in Crimea
Zaur Smirnov, Chairman of the State Committee for Interethnic Relations of the Republic of Crimea, believes that the leadership of Ukraine is trying to prevent the rest of Ukrainian tourists on the coast of the Crimean Peninsula.
At border posts, employees of the border service of Ukraine form “artificial obstacles”, because of them people face many hours of waiting. The average downtime at some points was about 13 hours.
According to Zaur Smirnov, “Kyiv has made an attempt to organize a new blockade of the peninsula, this time a tourist blockade.” He noted that the Crimea will be happy for tourists from Ukraine, but the tourist blockade of Kiev is not afraid of the peninsula, because the Republic “does not depend on the Ukrainian tourist.”
The official is sure that using this method, the Ukrainian leadership is trying to prevent tourists from seeing the real situation in the resorts of the peninsula.
