Volokolamsk: the Museum of the Romanov dynasty will open in the city
The Museum of the Romanov dynasty will open in the Volokolamsk city district by the end of the year.
The press service of the municipality administration reports: By the end of the year, a museum of the Romanov dynasty will appear in the Volokolamsk district. The museum will be located in the building of the school, built in 1916 in memory of the hero of the Great War of George the Cavalier Prince of Imperial Blood Oleg Konstantinovich - the fourth son of Grand Duke Romanov.
The original historical appearance of the building will be abandoned. Exterior work has already been completed, heating systems and new windows have been installed. It remains to make the interior decoration and carry out the improvement.
The museum will be dedicated to the activities of the Romanov family: assistance to the residents of the village Ostashevo, charity, development of the village.
