More and more Russians prefer tours to the UK

The cost of tours to the United Kingdom in rubles decreased by 10-15% compared to the same period in 2016, and the country stabilized the process of issuing visas, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

It is not only the observed strengthening of the ruble against world currencies. According to market participants, the weakening of the pound sterling against the euro also played a role. As a result, with the unchanged cost of tours in euros or pounds at the level of last season, this year in rubles they fell to an average of 15%, – stated in the message.

An important point is the stabilization of the visa issuance procedure. Today, documents are considered by the Consulate for no more than two weeks, which allows you to book tours with minimal depth. The number of rejections has decreased.

Experts assure that recently the demand for tours to the UK is growing, both in group and individual formats.
