Will Turkey shut down the all inclusive system?

In August it was reported that the authorities Turkey We are ready to consider options to reduce the number of tourists accepted under the all inclusive system or to completely abandon it in order to increase the cost of tourists.

Turkish hotels not located on the coast and not related to five-star, by 2024 may leave the scheme “all inclusive”. Mikhail Maltsev, head of the Ural branch of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, believes that hotels of 2-4 stars can switch to the “breakfast” system, and the infrastructure of budget catering enterprises will be created next to them.

“Today, almost all hotels in Turkey are all inclusive in pursuit of customers. In some hotels for this purpose spend 10-15 dollars a day per person. It is clear that it is impossible to fully provide the tourist with food, drinks and entertainment for this money. This situation leads to a large number of disappointed holidaymakers. The system does not allow to develop jobs in the country, to earn cafes, coffee houses, since a person who is going to rest on the all-inclusive system, in fact, does not take money with him and does not spend anything, says Mikhail Maltsev.

Maxim Puzankov, president of the Ural Tourism Association, believes that the changes will not alienate Russians, because other countries attract a large number of tourists without all inclusive.

OneTwoTrip surveyed tourists, and found that the all inclusive system is the most popular type of holiday in the Republic of Turkey, 91% of respondents prefer it. 87% of tourists who have spent at least one holiday in Turkish resorts say they will reconsider their attitude to vacation if all inclusive is canceled.
