A map of non-standard excursions in Oslo

In the Norwegian capital released a new map, called Oslo escape routes. The slogan of the map is “Escape the ordinary – learn the unusual!”, and its purpose is to inspire guests to walk both in the center and in the new districts of Oslo. Exploring the city with a new map, the tourist will get acquainted with the architecture, design, art and alternative culture of the city. There are four routes between Tjuvholmen and the former industrial areas on the banks of the Akerselva River.

Each of the routes passes through different streets, revealing the chosen theme as much as possible. Oslo Escape Routes also recommends the most interesting cafes and shops. What unites all the routes is that they are different from the “tremorned tourist trail”. The map was developed by the Centre for Architecture and Design in collaboration with the new The Thief Hotel. You can get it for free: in this hotel, in tourist offices of the Norwegian capital and other places.
