Japan is officially open to Russian tourists!
We are in a hurry to share the good news with you! Japan is officially open to Russian tourists!
On April 18, the Russian Foreign Ministry officially published a statement that there are no contraindications regarding the trips of Russian citizens to Japan (with the exception of the affected areas) for tourist and other purposes.
Japanese specialists kept their promise and managed to bring the situation under control, having developed a series of measures that will allow to stop the reactors within 6-9 months. The level of radiation in Tokyo, the vicinity of Tokyo and in all other tourist areas does not exceed background values, which was confirmed by Russian specialists of the Russian Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA), who visited Japan to study the situation.
The statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry received a wide resonance in the Japanese media, because Japan expressed concern about the ban, which had created a bad reputation for Japan as a whole. The ban was imposed despite the fact that most of the country was not affected even by earthquakes, not to mention the accident at the nuclear power plant.
The company vTokyo.ru confirms its previous statements that the situation in Japan has stabilized, the tourist infrastructure has not been damaged and is operating as usual (including already open for visits to Tokyo Disneyland). There are no problems with transportation and electricity.
The company vTokyo.ru, as the host tour operator, continues the set of tours in the usual (or slightly more optimistic) mode. We are ready to answer all your questions, including questions related to security in Japan.
