Smoking ban reaches Poland

On November 15, another version of the law banning smoking in public places comes into force in Poland. And these are considered universities, schools, hospitals, offices, public transport stops, cultural institutions, playgrounds. In cafes and restaurants with an area of more than 100 square meters, it becomes mandatory to have a place for smoking. The difference between this version of the law and the main one is that smoking is not completely prohibited, but only limited to the space inside which it is allowed to light a cigarette. In food-related establishments with only one common hall, smoking is completely prohibited. And in places where there is a possibility of separation of premises, it is mandatory to allocate a separate place for smokers. In addition, the owners of all public institutions are obliged to hang a sign that will inform visitors about the ban on smoking.
