Elbrus

Elbrus

Description:

The highest point of Europe, the highest point of the Caucasus is Mount Elbrus. This tour is for the whole day. Departure in the morning, come in the evening.

First, by car we rise to an altitude of 2350 meters above sea level on the Azau clearing. If you want to climb the pendulum cable car (old ropeway) or the gondola cable car (new ropeway) to the station "Krugosor", its height is 3000 m. Then you can climb even higher to the station "Mir", a height of 3,500 meters. And the most recent stage of the cable car, opened at the end of 2015, is the Garabashi station, 3850 meters above sea level.

Some of my clients and this is not enough and they from the station "Garabashi" on the ratraks or on a snowmobile rose to a maximum of 4400 meters above sea level!

Also, if you have a desire, you can climb the KKD (cable car) to another mountain Cheget. Its height is 3769 meters above sea level. There are two stages of the cable car, on which you can climb to 3050 meters above sea level. By the way, from the mountain Cheget offers a stunning view of Elbrus.

You and I are still visiting the Narzan Polyana. A small clearing next to the Baksan River on which there are five sources of Narzans. There are also numerous cafes where you can eat dishes of national Caucasian cuisine.

Do not forget that in the Caucasus at altitudes above 3200 meters, there is snow all year round. There are also cold winds. If possible, take warm clothes with you.

You must take your passports with you on this tour! We will drive 4 DPS posts there and 4 DPS posts back accordingly.

I will post a photo not only of the place of arrival on Elbrus, but also the road along which we will go to Elbrus. The road itself is quite picturesque and beautiful. Especially the last 100 km of the road along the Baksan gorge. I will also post photos at different times of the year, so that it is approximately clear as on Elbrus in summer and as on Elbrus in winter.

The cost of the tour is 13000r per car.
