Elbrus
Description:
Excursion to Elbrus is probably one of the most exciting events in human life. The road to the highest peak of the Caucasus and Europe runs along the Baksan gorge, and passes through the "city of star metal" Tarnyauz. During the journey, the majestic cliffs of the El Giurto and Shat Bovat cliffs swim outside the bus window. From the glade of Azau, a cable car climbs to the slope of Elbrus to a height of 3500 meters above sea level to the Mir station.
This excursion is not only saturated with landscapes, emotions, facts - hardly anyone will not be impressed by the vast fields with the Main Caucasian Range on the horizon, or Lake Tambukan, with its healing sulfide silt, grass-grown mounds, turbulent mountain rivers and picturesque gorges. The trip is also famous for its unpredictability. Very often it happens that the departure from Essentuki, or any other city of KMV occurs in cloudy sleepy weather, and many traveling in a sightseeing bus begin to visit sad thoughts about wasted money, time, unfinished minutes of sleep. And these thoughts are getting more persistent and persistent in my head, and, sadly, occupy a strong position. And suddenly, as soon as the bus skips the gloomy, grandiose, tall, hanging over the road rocks of the cliffs of Shat Bovat, as in the heads killed by sad thoughts, literally bursts into the sunlit holiday of blue sky, bright greenery in summer, or frosty snow sparks in winter - this is the yellow valley of Sary-Tuz! Moreover, this holiday of the sun is preserved to the very Elbrus, from the slope of which there is a magnificent view not only of himself, but also of the ancient powerful but dormant hromadas of volcanoes – the central part of the Main Caucasian Range! Literally nearby stands the hero Donguz-Orun with the famous sparkling glacier "Seven", the dull, similar to the ancient tower peak of Nakra-Tau, the biznets of Kogutai, the two-horned witch Ushba and the beauty of Schelda! Or maybe quite the opposite – having left in sunny weather from Essentuki, on Elbrus get into dense cloudiness, and see it only before descending to the Azau glade, but how to see! Literally, heavy frowning clouds diverge before your eyes, a blue window of the sky appears in them, and in this window, a dazzling white, two-headed hromada of Elbrus rises! A trip to Elbrus is really an event!
