Golden sands

 

The recreation center "Golden Sands" has a very favorable location - on the outskirts of the famous Kaliningrad resort of Zelenogradsk, which on the one hand provides a low-crowded beach and a quiet environment, and on the other does not interfere with the use of infrastructure and entertainment of the resort. However, the main advantage of this base is its proximity to the sea: the beach is located just a minute walk, without the tedious descents and ascents that are characteristic of the Baltic coast. To the city center, with numerous cafes and shops, from the recreation center "Golden Sands" just ten minutes walk, next to the shady city park. The proximity of the Curonian Spit National Park - only 5 km - opens up great opportunities to visit the reserve and its attractions: the Efa dunes, bird ringing stations, the Dancing Forest, etc. On the avandune located near the recreation center there are round sandy areas protected from the sea wind shrubs, called by local residents "pans" - due to the lack of wind on sunny days, it is very warm and you can sunbathe from mid-spring to autumn. Golden Sands is a great place for youth companies and beach volleyball fans, who are attracted by the equipped playground located near the hotel building.
