The Estrada Theatre is located in a building that in itself is a monument of architecture and history of the XVIII century. Until 2011, a massive reconstruction was carried out and for the centenary of the famous artist Arkady Raikin - the theater opened its doors to the public!
Now the artistic director of the theater is a very famous and popular artist Yuri Galtsev. The interiors are pleasing to the eye: the velvet-covered chairs of the auditorium and the columns harmonious with the general interior in the lobby of the theater amaze tourists and guests of the city. Excellent acoustics, stage-transformer, pleasant, airy atmosphere in the buffet of the theater and elegant stucco on the ceiling and walls leave a pleasant impression after visiting the theater.
In particular, it is worth noting such an innovation as a stage-transformer. At the end of the reconstruction, when the opening ceremony took place, the audience and guests were shown an unexpected transformation of the stage from a flat floor surface into a staircase.
