Looking Glass Theatre

Since the first years of its existence, the theater has occupied its niche in the culture of St. Petersburg. It was created in 1987 by the artistic director, director Alexander Petrov and conductor Pavel Bubelnikov.

The name of the theater “Looking Glass” means a special artistic view of the nature of creativity. Music here plays a special role, it is able to balance on the edge of the real and otherworldly mirror world, immersing us in the world of fantasy.

In the theater, festivals are constantly invented for entertainment, special subscriptions for education are created, as well as orchestral musical fireworks for universal joy.

The theater carries the mission of the family theater, putting performances for both young and adults, the theater pays special attention to introducing the younger generation to the opera culture.

Among the prizes and awards of the “Looking Glass” are numerous awards “Best Performance of the Year”, “Golden Sofit”, “Golden Mask”.
