The Mysteries of the Ostsee Region

The western part of the Leningrad region still hides many secrets and mysteries, happy and broken fates, traditions and way of life of different peoples. Ostzei provinces as part of Russia existed since the time of Peter the Great, and natives of them, well-born nobles and prominent cultural figures were once a special stratum of the population with their unique “face”.
We invite you to visit places historically associated with the names of immigrants from Ostzei provinces, to penetrate their secrets and mysteries and worship their shrines and admire the beauty of nature.

Programme of travel:
9.00 – departure from Moscow (Moscow Avenue 189)

Tour of the track:

• Elizabethino. Palace and Park of Princess Elizabeth Esperovna Trubetskaya (née Beloselskaya-Belozerskaya).
• Fifth mountain. The Estate of Baron Briscorn, the Church of the Holy Trinity is the place of the appearance of the Mother of God, a unique architectural monument of the 18th century.
• Lake Donzo is the northern Maldives.
• Chicken. Pyatogorsk monastery.
• Kikerino. The Church of St. Nicholas and the estate of Peter Vaulin is a ceramist. Its majolices lined many St. Petersburg churches and buildings of the early 20th century.
• Hair. Temple of Alexander Nevsky and visit the local bakery store (hot fresh bread and pastries).
• Moloskovitsa. The ruins of the White Kirkhi and the ancient cemetery with the grave of Alexander Vladimirovich Weimarn, a representative of the ancient Ostzei family, who did much for the development of Russia.
• The village of Conversation is the Weimarn estate.
• Yastrebino village is a family necropolis of Weimarnov.
• Kalazatsy. The temple of the healer Panteleimon on the waters. Holy spring.

19:00 – return to St. Petersburg.

Notes:
The holy spring in Kalazhitsy is not always suitable for swimming due to insufficient water levels. But you can put water in bottles (preferably take bottles with you). They may not be in place.
