Hotel "Stalingrad" is located in the most famous cultural and historical place of the city of Volgograd - on Mamayev Kurgan. There were fierce battles with German troops for the city of Stalingrad in 1942-43. In honor of the victory over the enemy, a monument-ensemble was erected to the heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad on Mamayev Kurgan. The central figure of the monument-ensemble of the Motherland monument is visible from the windows of the hotel.
