How to fill out a guide/expert profile and excursion

Block 1.

Your photo is the first and strongest factor of trust.

Best photo:

  • light, professional or semi-professional
  • clear, with good lighting
  • You're looking at the camera.
  • light, natural smile
  • neutral

Avoid:

  • dark
  • selfie
  • Photos wearing glasses or headgear that hide the face
  • A photo where you are far and far away.

2. A brief description of yourself

This is a text that tells the tourist who you are as a person.

What to write:

  • Who you are and how many years you have been on tour
  • Why did you become a guide?
  • What you love about your city
  • Your communication style: calm, emotional, popular science
  • Your approach to guests: children, families, the elderly
  • How are you different from other guides?

Write easily and humanly. Tourists choose people, not positions.

  • Safety and attention to detail

4. Education and experience

Do not overdo it – 2-3 lines are enough.

5. Feedback and recommendations

Add to the profile:

  • detailed guest reviews
  • Thank you for highlighting important points
