Archaeological Museum of History Faculty of Donetsk National University (DonNU)

Another interesting museum at Donetsk National University is the Archaeological Museum of the Faculty of History. It was opened recently, after the reconstruction was completed. The museum contains only a quarter of the exhibits collected by students and teachers, the rest are stored in the Kiev Museum of Archaeology.

But I must say that many of the exhibits of the museum are unique. One of them belongs to IV BC. Another of the famous exhibits is a beautiful golden helmet belonging to the Scythian era. Work tools, household supplies - all this can be seen in the museum.

The future of the museum is very promising. They want to turn the entire historical faculty into a museum, so that the exhibits stand even in the corridors of the faculty.
