Museum of Photojournalism and Photographic Technology

The Museum of Photojournalism and Photographic Equipment in Donetsk is known throughout the country, as it is a unique place where journalists, professional photographers and amateurs of photography can see the only exhibition dedicated to this topic in the country. On a relatively small area collected about 500 rare exhibits, striking in its scale.

Here you can see models of different brands of cameras known to the world “Smena”, “Zenit”, “Practice” and others, and personal belongings of famous Donetsk photographers, and various accessories for photographic equipment, and a valuable archive of photographic materials located on a historical and chronological principle will be of interest to every guest.

Stands dedicated to Evgeny Khaldei, Efim Comm, Lev Azriel, Boris Vitkov will tell about the history of Donetsk photography. More recently, the museum was reconstructed, and there was a functioning photo laboratory.
