Museum of the History of Shakhtar Football Club

The Shakhtar Football Club Museum is one of the largest and most famous sports museums in Ukraine. The museum was opened on 14 July 2010. In 2012, the museum participated in the European Museum of the Year Award 2012 and reached the final. Currently, the museum is among the forty-five best museums in Europe.

The multimedia, beautifully decorated composition of the museum tells about the history of the creation of the Shakhtar football club. The halls of the museum are decorated with numerous photos of athletes, as well as prints of the palms and feet of all the famous athletes of the team. In the center of each hall of the museum is a sculpture in which you can see the cast heroes of the team of this era. The museum will be interesting for both adults - fans of the team, and children who can play PlayStation and interactive football.
