Telephone Museum

The Museum of Telephone Communications in Donetsk, opened in 2006 by the staff of the Center for Technical Operation of Local Telephone Communications of OJSC Ukrtelecom, is the first and only museum of its kind dedicated to the history of the development of the telephone network throughout Ukraine!

The museum presents a wide range of exhibits, including telephones, payphones, installations, wires, cables in different periods of their operation. Also in the museum you can see the highlight of the telephone network, a manual telephone exchange, as well as the top of a wooden support for VLS wires.

The view of professionals will be pleased with the exposition of devices for measuring the parameters of communication cables during the technical operation and repair of the urban telephone network, the payphone control table, exhibits reflecting fire safety and labor protection at the facilities of the MTS CTE.
