A trip to Abkhazia. Gagra-oz. Riza-Pitsunda

You will find a beautiful and eventful trip to the Ritsinsky National Reserve. The tour begins with a visit to the ancient Byzantine temple of the 10th century, then we will visit the waterfalls “Maiden tears”, flowing from the rocks with silver threads, the emerald “Blue Lake” and the waterfall “Male tears”. Through the Yupshar canyon, reminiscent of the film "Avatar", with rocks under 400 m, overgrown centuries-old boxwoods covered with moss and ivy, garlands of lianas hanging from rock cornices, we will climb to the pearl of the mountains of Abkhazia - emerald Ritsa. On the shore of the lake, we will visit the national cafe, where we will be able to get acquainted with the life and decoration of the houses of indigenous Abkhazians and of course taste national dishes cooked on fire, enjoying the views of the surrounding mountains. After a delicious lunch, we will go to the beach of the lake, where in the summer heat you can cool down, then visit the noisy and foamy waterfall "Milk" with 20-meter rapids and the once-secret place - Stalin's dacha. On the way back we will stop in Pitsunda with its grape and fruit farms and meet the sunset on the seaside among the relict pine trees. Dinner can be stopped in Gagra in the ancient fortress of Abaata. While the dinner is being prepared, you can visit a 6th century Greek temple and a mini museum of the fortress history.
