Milk Falls Waterfall

Among the unique mountain ranges of Abkhazia there are many cascades and waterfalls, however, one of the most picturesque and unique of them is the Milk Falls. This “delicious” name of the waterfall was due to the color of its water, which is very similar to milk. The water in this region is rich in minerals, and breaking on the rocks, it foams strongly, resembling milk from afar.

This amazing place in its beauty is located on the territory of the Ritsin National Park in the Gagra district of Abkhazia. You can get there as part of the excursion group, and independently by car or taxi, because public transport in this area does not go. But the road leading to the Milk Falls is in good condition, and it is not difficult to get to this miracle of nature on your own.
