New Athos Embankment

Amazing and unusual beauty, attracting tourists, has the embankment of New Athos in Abkhazia. The embankment is like a beautiful garden, in which there are many outlandish and exotic plants. For example, on one side grow palm trees with wide leaves, shrubs. And on the left, across the fence, is a pedestrian zone. The waterfront is especially beautiful in August, when magnolias and pomegranates bloom. The length is about six kilometers. You can hear the sound of coastal waves.
Despite this, the promenade is a noisy place in the city, in which two worlds touch at once - wildlife and people.
In the evenings, all residents and vacationers flock to this place for walks and a pleasant pastime. Street musicians perform their songs, the embankment is illuminated by many lanterns. Romantic place! Every day there is a thorough cleaning, so there is always perfect order.
