Sculpture "Eagle" tormenting a snake

The sculpture “Eagle tearing a snake”, located in the Abkhazian city of New Athos, was previously located near the waterfall near the famous New Athos monastery. Nowadays, it can be seen in the Seaside Park by three plane trees, not far from a small pond, famous for its black swans.

The sculpture is an eagle staring greedily at its prey – a snake, which it holds with powerful claws. The wings of the bird are open, their scope reaches about one and a half meters. Near the impressive sculpture, installed on a large stone pedestal of irregular shape, vacationers like to be photographed.
