Description:
Blue Lake is located on the right bank of the Bzyb River. The lake is known for its crystal clear water and unique blue color.
It is a rather large and cold lake (the water temperature does not rise above 10 degrees Celsius), which is fed by underground springs.
According to legend, on the site of this lake there used to be a cave in which a very wise and kind old man lived, who helped everyone in the district. After his death, the vaults of the cave collapsed, and the cave itself was flooded with crystal clear water, which in memory of the elder acquired the same blue color as the eyes of the elder.
