The main mosque of Durres in Albania was built in 1993. This mosque was built in honor of the Egyptian Muhammad Ali. It is a construction of white color with some additions of sand color. When finishing the building, a light stone was used. Above the mosque stands a high minaret. At the entrance and on the sides are thin, not too high columns just sand color. The mosque is a popular place for tourists to visit.
