Saranda is a sunny port city in the southeast of Albania, which combines sea recreation and a rich historical palette. Here the busy embankment and cozy streets coexist with archaeological monuments, and the Mediterranean atmosphere sets a leisurely rhythm of walks. The city attracts tourists with a warm climate, sea views and a convenient base for day trips around the region.
Man-made sights of Saranda and the surroundings amaze with diversity: the ancient city of Budrint with well-preserved ruins of the theater and temples, the castle of Lecursy, towering over the bay and opening panoramas of the city, popular beaches and an embankment with restaurants and cafes.
