The city also has private and thematic museums dedicated to art, ethnography and modern forms of creativity, and in the vicinity you can find small museum complexes and monuments that reveal local traditions and life of the region. Such collections and rare exhibits allow you to feel the depth of the historical layer and see rare artifacts live.
The museum program of Tirana is dynamic: temporary exhibitions, imported collections and thematic projects, lectures and educational programs for adults and children are regularly opened here. Seasonal expositions and curated projects update the poster, so it is worth keeping an eye on the schedule - especially in spring and summer, when museum life becomes particularly busy and there are many special events and public events for tourists and locals.
