The dwarf country of Andorra

Andorra, a country buried among the Pyrenees mountain peaks, can be visited in one day, leaving very early in the morning and returning late in the evening. This is a completely magical country and it seems like some kind of joke its existence in such a remote place from the whole world, among brutal mountain landscapes, sharp peaks and sharply falling into the abyss gorges, clinging to rocks and gnawing a place for itself, this strange country is located, where Spain and France rule, and to be more precise, the head of the Urgell diocese and the French president. With the proud name "Parliamentary Principality" the country has a little more than 80,000 people permanently living and very well among the surrounding mountain monsters, or rather the peaks.

Located at the level of 1023 m Andorra La Vella is considered the highest mountain capital in Europe. The unicameral Parliament of Andorra, called the General Council of the Valleys of Andorra, consists of 28 members and is elected every 4 years and is considered one of the oldest parliaments in Europe.

It is impossible to get to Andorra by any other means of transport, except by car or bus. No trains or planes go or fly here. But everyone lives quite well and the country's economy is based on tourism, mainly skiing, and tourism in principle. And this is not surprising, considering that this small country is visited by 9 million tourists a year. Not the least role in the country is played by the banking sector, which enjoys all tax benefits existing on a general basis.

This country can be visited in winter and summer, and the belief “in the summer there is nothing to do” is fundamentally wrong. Most of all, I like to travel to Andorra in the summer, when everything blooms and the rivers flowing through the country boil, creating a special relaxing perception of the world around me.
