Sculpture "The Tempest in a Cup of Tea"

Not far from the ski resort of La Massana is a curious monument, or rather, a sculpture, an expression of artistic thought. This is a cup of tea, huge, thirteen meters in diameter, holding the balance on the slope of the gorge of la Botella.

The openwork design looks touching and unusual and courageously tries to maintain balance against all odds. Contemplation of the original monument evokes various thoughts, including philosophical ones. This speaks only in favor of artistic expression - because the author of the giant cup, who can not deny a sense of humor, did not want to say anything special. He just drank tea one day and looked up at the mountain. And the Tempest in a Cup of Tea sculpture is just a big iron cup. Nothing more.
