La Botella Gorge

La Botella Gorge is located in the Seturia Valley, Andorra. Here tourists have amazing views of the mountain beauty, as well as special attention deserves the clean mountain air, which is simply impossible to breathe. The gorge is famous for its amazing sculpture “The Tempest in a Cup of Tea”. It is a giant cup, having a 13-meter diameter, which, as if frozen, turning over.
The sculpture makes the viewer think about some astronomical measuring instruments, such as the ancient armillary sphere. The length of the gorge is 30 meters. There is always a cold, piercing wind, so tourists are warned in advance to bring warm clothes. Among the representatives of the flora of the gorge, a rare wild cypress deserves special attention.
