Comic Book Museum
Andorra, La Massana, Fontetas Square
About the company:
The Museum of Comics is a cult place for comic book lovers, the original museum of Andorra, located on the Fontetas Square in La Massana. The Museum has an extensive collection of posters and humorous drawn magazines and periodically hosts exhibitions of world-renowned artists, such as Antonio Bernal, Alfonso Fonta, Philippe Schavier, Ana Miralles and others.
The exhibition hall is a light-filled room with windows throughout the wall. Comics are exhibited behind glass in wooden frames. The Museum of Comics exhibits rare editions, including horror comics, which are not intended for children, so the museum is allowed from the age of 12. Most of the visitors are students, people who are fond of drawing comics and collectors. You can study the exhibition yourself, or you can join the tour, which lasts 15 minutes.
If you are interested in comics and everything related to them, a comic book workshop is held every Thursday evening in the community of La Massana. The Museum is run by the famous illustrator Jordi Planellas, so this is where students learn the basics of drawing comics.
