About the company:

The National Museum of Fine Arts, in Buenos Aires, presents the magnificent sculptures of Rodin and Oswaldo, photographs of famous photographers, as well as exhibits of private collections, which are presented in special exhibition halls.

The museum is located in the building of the former pumping station, which belonged to the Recoleta Sanitary Facilities in 1870. The building was reconstructed for the needs of the museum, and everything was done to create a great interest in the exhibition: good lighting, smooth walls and spacious modern halls. The museum opened on 25 December 1895 and the first director of the museum was the Argentine painter and art critic Eduardo Sciafino. In 2004, a branch of the museum in the city of Neuquen was opened.

On the first floor of the museum there are 24 exhibition halls with paintings from the Middle Ages and until the XX century Art lovers will enjoy visiting the museum.
