Palomar Airport
Description:
Palomar Airport is a military airport in Argentina. The airport is the base of the first air brigade of the Argentine Air Force.
The airport is located 18 kilometers west of Buenos Aires, near El Palomar station on the San Martin railway line, at an altitude of 18 meters above sea level.
There is one runway at the airport. Its length is 2210 meters, and its width is 50 meters.
Palomar Airport was used as the second (after Eseisa International Airport) reserve airport for Jorge Newbery Airport flights during the airport runway renovation in 2010.
