Buenos Aires in 3 days: full tour + Tigre Delta and Asado evening
Description:
Buenos Aires does not open in one tour. In three days, it is completely revealed.
This route is designed so that you do not just “see the city”, but live it: from the port quarters where the tango was born, to the aristocratic Recoleta; from the green Palermo to the Parana delta; and in the final – an evening at the parish with real asado and Mendoza wine.
No race and no extra moves. Two days on foot in the city plus one away in the Tigris. The order of days is flexible - adjust to your schedule, weather and pace. Gastronomic tastings are woven into every day organically: somewhere coffee in a historic cafe, somewhere choripan on the street, somewhere dulce de leche on the market. You try the city all the time, not in the allotted hours.
Day 1 - La Boca and San Telmo (6 hours). We start at the bridge of Nicolas Avellaneda, listen to the history of Genoese immigrants, walk along the Caminito, look at the "La Bombonera". We move to San Telmo - the oldest quarter of the city: Lesama Park, Defens Street, Plaza Dorrego, market in 1897. First tastings: choripan, coffee in a historic cafe, dulce de leche, empanada on the market.
Day 2 – Palermo, Recoleta and Center (7 hours) We start at the Monument to the Spaniards, walk through the park on February 3 to the Rosary, enter the Japanese Garden (the second largest outside Japan), see the Mechanical Flower and the Museum of Fine Arts. Lunch in Recoleta - and in the heart of the area: the cemetery with the grave of Evita Peron. Then there is the book Ateneo in the building of the former theater, Palacio Barolo, the descent into the first subway in Latin America, the Plaza de Mayo and the final at the Obelisk.
Day 3 - Tigre, Obelisk and Asado evening. In the morning - Tren de la Costa to Tigre, Puerto de Frutos market, boat ride along the delta ducts, lunch by the water. We return to the city to the observation deck at the Obelisk, walk along Corrientes - and come to the parish in Suipach. Here I explain the difference between asado, entraña, bife de chorizo, chorizo, morcilla and provoleta, talk about chimichurri and salsa criolla sauces and help you choose Mendoza wine for meat. Dinner is paid separately - but I stay with the group and help order the way the locals do.
