About me and my experience

My name is Denis. I am a guide and organizer of author’s excursions to Buenos Aires and travels to Latin America. I have been living in Argentina for several years and have traveled to more than 65 countries, but this continent has become my main passion. My wife is an Argentinian with Bolivian roots, so I don’t know the region from guidebooks, but from the inside, as the locals know it. For me, traveling is about immersing in a culture, not a checkmark on a “visit” list. I collect routes so that the main attractions are combined with little-known places, where almost no tourist groups reach. I’ll show you my Latin America, which is not shown on standard tours.

I speak fluent Spanish, English and Russian, understand Portuguese and Turkish. I have traveled to all countries of South America, so I can tell you a lot about this region – from obvious must-sees to completely non-banal corners and share a unique experience that will fall in love with South America.

My services and offers

For me, traveling is about immersing in a culture, not a checkmark on a “visit” list. I collect routes so that the main attractions are combined with little-known places.

Buenos Aires is deceptive: it is easy to get lost in the center, and the outskirts may not be very welcoming. It is a city where tango, football, wine and real Argentina live. Without a local guide, you risk seeing the "postcard" city and not feeling its soul. With me, you'll go to places where organized groups don't go, and you'll always be safe. All excursions are conducted in Russian, if desired - in English or Spanish. Groups are small, from one to six people.

Among the author’s routes in Buenos Aires is the excursion “La Boca and San Telmo”. History, language, food, where we discover the history of the city since its foundation and talk about the two souls of the Argentine capital: the port and vibrant La Boca and the aristocratic, melancholic San Telmo. The second route is Palermo and Recoleta. Luxury, customs and legends: Recoleta, Palermo and the center, ambitious, rich, brilliant and most European Buenos Aires, its architecture, family stories and urban legends. The third is the "Tastes of Buenos Aires" gastro tour, where we sample the city through local places rather than tourist restaurants: from asado with wine to coffee and empanadas.

For those who have three free days, there is a package All Buenos Aires + Tigre. We combine three author's routes - La Boca and San Telmo, Palermo and Recoleta, gastro tours - and add a walk along the Tigre delta by boat and a trip by local train. In the Tigre, we are waiting for a fruit market, lunch by the water, the Sarmiento house-museum and the real rhythm of life of the islanders - a completely different Argentina, which is rarely shown to tourists. The pace is comfortable, without haste, with stops at the best observation points and in proven local places.

Latin America. I'm not just proposing Buenos Aires. I will collect a route for you all over the continent – according to your dates, interests and pace. Or you can choose one of the ready routes. The format of individual tours is from seven to twenty-one days, private groups from two to six people. Countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Peru and Bolivia. The languages are Russian, Spanish and English.

All of South America in 16 Days: Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina, five countries and eight locations, Machu Picchu, Uyuni salt marsh, Iguazu and Buenos Aires Falls in one trip, with thoughtful logistics and full escort. The route “Brazil and Argentina in 10 days” is São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu and Buenos Aires: the beaches and carnival energy of Rio, the power of waterfalls and the European charm of the Argentine capital. For lovers of the active south, there is Patagonia and Glaciers - El Calafate, Ushuaia and the Perito Moreno glacier with light and medium trekking. And the route “Peru: Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley” is Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley and the lost city of the Incas with proper adaptation to the height.

Travel design. Long distances, acclimatization, language barrier, ignorance of logistics, human factor, time zones and culture are not all that a traveler faces in South America. I have toured all countries and places of the region and will create a personal guide document for you with detailed timing, verified locations and contacts on the spot. It includes a route map, logistics of flights and relocations, selection of hotels and hostels under the budget, safety and vaccination tips, gastro guide, phrasebook and local expressions, as well as support in the messenger during the trip.

It works like this: you leave an application with wishes for countries, dates, interests and budget, we call and discuss the details, after which I collect the route, documents, tickets and reservations. After a few days, you get a ready PDF guide and go. You can choose one of three formats: go with me if you need a guide and escort; go independently with a ready-made guide document at your own pace; or take a ready-made individual tour of South America and adapt it for yourself. Contact me to discuss the trip, choose the format and collect the route that is right for you.
