Description:

Tierra del Fuego National Park is located in Argentina, 12 kilometers from the city of Ushuaia. The park is located on the border with the western part of Chile, and in the east is washed by the Atlantic Ocean. The only national park in Argentina with a sea coast was founded in 1960 to protect local forests from deforestation, its area is about 63,000 hectares.

In the park you can see stunning mountain landscapes, admire the spacious valleys with rivers and lakes, as well as visit the picturesque bays of La Pataya and Canjadon del Toro.

The park presents unique flora and fauna, striking in its diversity. Here you can see such rare species of trees as brown tree, Chilean beech, Chilean cherry. Admiration is caused by many flowers growing here: these are daisies, yellow violets, white orchids.

There are a variety of animals in the park: colored foxes, North American beavers belonging to an endangered species, as well as guanaco llamas, hares. On the Atlantic coast, you can see rare species of marine mammals, as well as wild birds, for example, black-headed albatrosses, condors, terns, ducks, gulls.
